How to make hair grow fast

How to make hair grow fast

Hello my fashionsistas,

Hair talk time!

I used to have really looooooong hair. I then cut my hair really short (Gwenyth a la 2008) and then about two months after having it cut I realised I wanted my long hair back *cries*

I really miss having long hair and I've been trying to grow it back ever since chopping it off. I’ve been doing some research on how to make hair grow fast and I've been doing a few of things to try and speed up the process. Even though it's not proven that you can speed up hair growth it seems to be working… It could just be in my head but I do feel like my hair is growing a little bit faster than normal so maybe it is working. Even if it’s not, I just feel a lot better about it anyway – that’s the main thing right?!

And remember, you don’t need to be a model to look like you’ve stepped off the runway – you just need a killer wardrobe and some lipstick!

Head Massage

One of the simplest and easiest ways to stimulate hair growth is to give yourself a head massage. I massage my scalp for about 3 minutes every time I wash my hair (which is about 3 times a week). Massaging your head is helps the blood flow to the scalp, which circulates to the hair follicles and is said to stimulate hair growth.

Root Mask: Organic Root Stimulator Hair Fertilizer

Some of my friends have been using Organic Root Stimulator Hair Fertilizer and they've found it really works so I just had to try it out for myself. It’s jam packed with a ton of natural ingredients like nettle, horsetail and paprika, which are known to open up hair follicles and stimulate the scalp. I leave it on overnight, and as an added treatment I also massage a small amount of coconut oil on the ends of my hair (make sure you put a towel over your pillow)!

Avoid Hot Styling Tools

I’ve been avoiding using hot styling tools as much as possible. I don't really know whether this is going to help my hair grow faster or not but one of my friend's hairdressers was saying that you should completely stop using any heating tools or anything that's going to damage your hair (even dyes and bleach!). If your hair is damaged, it will be busy repairing itself rather than growing!

Your hair is like your skin – you wouldn’t stress your skin out so don’t stress your hair out.

Hair Vitamins

I know, I know! A lot of people roll their eyes at hair vitamins, they’re definitely great for strengthening your hair because you can visibly see the results. Vitamins are not proven to grow your hair faster BUT they do say they encourage hair growth – basically no one wants to commit to claiming that it works. I personally do feel like my hair is growing faster, it may just be in my head but either way my hair is visibly healthier, I know it’s probably not just the hair vitamins alone but the total package of what I am doing.

I am taking a vitamin called ‘Hair Tonic’ (that’s the one for hair growth) and also just a hair and nail multi-vitamin to strengthen my hair and nails, my nails seem harder too actually!
