Look professional with my makeup for work tutorial
You’ve probably seen some of my corporate office outfits and today I just wanted to show you how to do professional looking makeup for work. This look is really natural and doesn’t take too long to do, and it’s even perfect for a job interview.
I know for me when I used to work in an office (I used to be an Event Manager, but I’ll tell you about that another time!), I used to meet with a lot of clients and my office was really corporate-y so I used to just go for a natural, clean and fresh makeup look every day.
Now I know you don’t have a lot of time in the morning to do your makeup so I’m going to just go through what the essentials are to create this look. It’s really easy and doesn’t even take long!
Watch below to learn how to create the perfect office makeup look.
You can find all the products I used today in my Beauty Box.

And remember, you don't need to be a Model to look like you've stepped off the Runway.
PS - I know some of you are reading this at work so can’t watch the video so here is everything I said in the video :)
1. Office appropriate primer, foundation & concealer
To prime I’m using Rimmel BB Cream. I really like it for a drug store BB Cream and it does a whole lot of fabulous things too!
For foundation I am going to use Chanel Lift Lumiere (in number 30/Cendre), I just put a little on the back of my hand and pat and blend it on my face using an Urban Decay Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush. I also have the MAC 190 Flat Foundation Brush but I find this one is quicker to apply foundation when I’m trying to get out the door in the morning!
For concealer I’m using Dior Skin Concealer (in 002/Beige) with a MAC 286 Brush under my eyes. I find this concealer works really well with the Chanel Foundation.
I’m going to set my Foundation and Concealer with Diorskin Loose Powder (in 002/Transparent Medium) using a MAC 150 Brush. This powder is nice and light weight so it doesn’t feel like you are covered in makeup.
2. Polished and professional eyebrows
Next I fill in my eyebrows using MAC Matte Eyeshadow in Espresso and an Urban Decay Angled Brush.
For a minimal eye look, I’m going to Prime my eyes using Urban Decays Eyeshadow Primer in original and then just do a once over my eyes using the colour Virgin from the original Urban Decay Palette using a MAC 227 Brush. And on my lashes I’ll use MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara.
3. Some gorgeous blush so you look amazing around the workplace
Next, I’m going to use a bit of blush on my cheeks. I love Dior Blush in Rosebud which is number 939. I’m going to apply that with a MAC 168 Angled Brush - just make one stroke on your cheek upwards then make a few circles.
4. Last we do lips!
And for my lips I’m going to use Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Kiss. I used to wear a lot of lip balm when I worked in an office, I rarely had time to reapply lipstick so I would either use a pink lip stain with clear lip balm over the top or a tinted lip balm.
