In Flight Skincare Routine
Hello my loves,
I filmed my very first in-flight tutorials for you!
I was sooo nervous filming on the flight because I had a reallyyyyyyyy famous actress one seat away from me and I was scared the attendants (and other passengers) would think I was trying to film her… Turns out one attendant actually recognised me from my Instagram and they were totally cool about me filming too which was nice.
I ended up filming two tutorials for you: this skincare routine and also a makeup tutorial too, which you can check out here.
Product info + more deets are below the video.

Products Used In This Video:
Makeup Removal: I’m using the MAC Gently Off Wipes + Micellar Water.
Mask: My skin gets really dry whenever I fly, and post flight I tend to break out a little. I always get a facial 2 days before getting on a flight which helps, but I find that keeping my skin hydrated during the flight is where I see the main difference.
I’m using the Eve Lom Moisture Mask. I love this mask because it dries fast and it dries clear so you can’t even see that you’ve got it on, and it’s also not too sticky.
How long I keep this mask on depends on how long the flight is, I usually keep it on anywhere between 4-6 hours. On shorter flights, I’ve kept it on for 1 hour – anything is better than nothing!
Once I’m ready to take my mask off, I ask an attendant for a hot towel.
If you can’t get your hands on a hot towel, I have improvised in the past by wetting a makeup wipe with warm water and used that to wipe off the mast, then patting my face dry with a tissue.
Hydrating Mist: Before applying moisturiser, I prepped my skin for absorption using the La Mer Hydrating Mist. This is not a toner, but I use is like it is one so that I don’t have to bring my toner in flight. I try to keep it as minimal as I possibly can.
I don’t ever travel without this spray. It’s also an amazing summer holiday essential, I keep it in my beach bag and spritz it throughout the day.
Eye Cream: I’m using the La Mer Eye Balm Intense. It’s soothing and reduces puffiness, basically all I need after a long flight!
Moisturizer: I’m using La Mer Creme De La Mer Moisturizing Cream. I use a pea size amount, warm it together between fingertips until it turns clear and then gently pat it onto my face and neck.
If I had to choose only one thing from this list to take on a flight, it would be this. It’s my fave moisturizer not only to use in flight but also every night because it’s very rich, hydrating and heals away dryness.
Lip Balm: I’m using La Mer Lip Balm – it smells like peppermint and chocolate.
Hydrating Mist (again): I didn’t film this part but after I do my skincare routine, every couple of hours I spritz my face with the La Mer Hydrating Mist.
