Concealer is best applied after you have put foundation on. You can use concealer to cover blemishes, dark circles or you can simply use concealer to highlight.
You don’t necessarily need to use different coloured concealers to highlight, you can just use one colour concealer in all the places you want highlighted because your concealer should be a little lighter than your foundation.
Around your brows
Placing concealer on your brow bone and above your brows will open up your eyes and add some highlight to your face. If you’re filling your eyebrows like me, it’s going to sharpen and define your brows too.
Under the eyes
Whether you struggle with dark circles or not, your under eyes always need a little lifting with concealer. The best way to apply concealer under your eyes is to create a triangle shape by drawing a line along you’re the bottom of your eye then another line along your nose and then join the corners together up your cheek.
Inner eye corners
Shadows are the naturally the darkest around inner corners of your eyes so you want to place some concealer at the inner corner to brighten and highlight that area.
Down the centre of your nose
Add some light center of your face and naturally enhance your face by placing a line of concealer down the bridge of your nose.
If you've got any redness around your nostrils, placing some concealer is going to neutralize that redness.
Around your top lip
Applying concealer along your top lip is great for making your top lip appear poutier.
At the centre of your chin
Get rid of any shadows and redness by adding a touch of concealer at the center of your chin. This is also going to brighten this area as well.
If you want a little extra coverage from your concealer, leave it on for a couple of minutes to allow it to set before blending it in. You can use either sponge or a brush, I prefer brush, as it’s a little quicker. When I want a heavier coverage I’ll press the concealer in with a sponge.
