So many of you have commented on my skin and how flawless it is, thank you. I do spend a lot of time and money on it so I’m glad you all notice. I do two things to make my skin look it’s absolute best; one is my skincare routine (which I will be doing a video on very soon) and the other is with the foundation I use, so today I have filmed a video of my flawless foundation routine for you.
Watch below to learn how to do flawless foundation so that your skin looks smooth and radiant
If you liked my flawless foundation tutorial please give it a big thumbs up or leave a comment - it would mean the world to me!
You can find all the products I used today in my Beauty Box.
And remember, you don't need to be a Model to look like you've stepped off the Runway.
PS - Can’t watch this video right now but really want to know how to do it? Here is the step by step guide to my flawless foundation routine
1. Prime time
The first thing I do is use a primer. I like to use using Mac Skin Base Visage Prep & Prime because it’s illuminating so really adds a nice glow to my skin. I rub that in everywhere with my hands (always make sure your hands are clean when touching your face)!
2. Flawless foundation
For my flawless foundation look, I use MAC Studio Fix foundation because it photographs really well so it’s perfect for a special occasion like a wedding day or prom or even going out to dance the night away. I do find that if I use it for for too many days in a row my skin can get really congested so I don’t recommend you using this kind of foundation everyday.
I just pop a little on the the back of my hand, and apply it with a MAC 190 Brush starting from the nose and working outwards, being a flat brush it allows me to get in to all the corners to really cover up.
I conceal under my eyes with MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. Using a MAC 195 Brush I draw a triangle shape under my eye, then I blend it in using a MAC 286 Brush. I prefer to blend with the 286 brush as it’s gives a really natural finish as compared to the 195 brush. Here I also do around my nose and any spots where I might have a bit of redness.
This foundation doesn’t need setting with powder as it’s quite matte but I do set just the concealer with Mac Studio Fix Powder using a MAC 226 Brush and then I carry the powder in my hand bag for touchups later in the day.
4. Bright eyes
This tutorial is all about the foundation so I just did a quick once over on my eyes using MAC Velvet Vanilla eyeshadow to brighten my eyes and for Mascara, I used Diorshow as I felt like dramatic eyes today.
5. Get cheeky
Next I’m just going to pop a little Rimmel Bronzing Compact Powder in medium matte under my cheek bones to contour slightly (not too much!) using my Chanel mini brush. This brush is a real all rounder as I can use it for so many different things simply by manipulating the brushes with my hand.
For blush I’m using my all time fave colour; 939 Rosebud from Dior and I’m going to apply this to my cheeks with a MAC 168 brush and here I will also blend the bronzer a little with the blush.
6. Lipstick time
You know I never leave the house without lipstick on! Today it was so cold and cloudy in Sydney so I used a summery colour - because that’s where I’d rather be right now- Ravishing by MAC and also used the same colour in the Lipglass over the top.
