Black smokey eye makeup tutorial (how to do it simple and easy!)

Hi Fashionsistas,

Tonight I am heading out for cocktails and maybe some dancing with my girlfriends and as I’m going to be doing a really dramatic black smokey eye look I thought I would film a video of it for you. Hope you like it!

Watch below to learn how to create a killer black smokey eye

You can find all the products I used today in my Beauty Box.

And remember, you don't need to be a Model to look like you've stepped off the Runway.

I started by using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in original. It is SO good, super long lasting - it takes a bit of elbow to get off!

Then I used Dark Side from my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette as a base colour. I applied that with the brush that the palette comes with and also put a little under my eye. Then I blended the edges with my MAC 217 Brush.

Next, I wanted REALLY dark and dramatic eyes to I took Blackout from my Naked 2 Palette and put that on my eyelid using a MAC 286 Brush and I left  the inner corner free of colour because I like to put something a little lighter there to open up my eyes more. I also put some black underneath too. Then I blended around the edges using the same blending Brush.

Once blended I took YDK from my Naked Palette which is bright shimmery colour (but still very dark) and put that some on the inner corners of my eyes to really open them up.

For Eyeliner, I used a black Eyeliner from Rimmel in my water line and also the Urban Decay Ink for Eyes Waterproof Precision Eye Pen along my top lash line because I wanted to hide my lash line as I put False Lashes on too.

Then I used MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara and for False Lashes I used MAC ones which I totally forgot the name of - they are black and brown and are REALLY long.
