best hair products for styling

Hi Fashionsistas,

Welcome to this weeks episode of Ask Marina. This weeks question comes from Nicoleta from Verona. Nicoletta asks:

Hi Marina,

Can you suggest some really good hair products for styling. I buy new products all the time but I don’t have any products that I truly love. Im dying to know what hair products you swear by.

Hugs from Verona,

Watch below to hear the 6 best hair products for styling that I love

Products mentioned in this video

What I’m wearing: Zara Singlet, JBRAND Jeans, and SpyLoveBuy Shoes

I hope you loved this video and found it helpful. If you have a hair product that you swear by, share it by leaving a comment below.

And remember, you don’t need to be a model to look like you’ve stepped off the runway – you just need a killer wardrobe and some lipstick!

Big love,

Sebastian Trilliance Shampoo & Conditioner

This product is so great, it’s not only for coloured hair but also for natural/non-coloured hair. It has crystals that give your hair that natural shine.

Since Sebastian is quite expensive here in Australia I buy it online – I get a litre bottle for about $40 Australia dollars which same price as the smaller bottle in stores here.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum

This is known as one of the best products for frizzy hair! It doesn’t only ease frizz but also protects hair from heat, hydrates and tames fly-aways leaving you with super smooth hair.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Mousse

If you’re up to styling your hair, giving it that luxurious body and fullness or just enhance your natural curls, the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Mousse is best to use. To achieve body and fullness, just pop a little bit on your roots and blow-dry your hair upside down. And for the natural curls, just pop it in your hair and leave it to dry – I love doing this.

Sebastian Potion 9

This is another option to use for that easy-breezy hair, it’s a wearable styling treatment. It holds the waves in place giving you that natural look. My hairdresser uses it in my hair all the time, which is how I discovered it, I just gives my hair the perfect wave and bounce when blow-drying, and it also sits nicely if I let it dry naturally.

Toni & Guy Beach Spray

My go-to for a beach wave look. This works really well for me but I found with beach sprays that different products work well for different hair types.

Haze Styling Powder

A handy little pocket-rocket, the Haze Styling powder will give you that gorgeous messy finish. It is a texturizing powder that allows you to style your hair with a free hand, bending it and scrunching it up. I just discovered this and it’s my new favourite that I will never stop buying.

Klorane Dry Shampoo

When your hair is damp and dirty, the Klorane Dry shampoo will definitely make your hair feel clean and moisturized, and will get you through another day or two. One thing many people get wrong (happened to me!) is that you need to spray dry shampoo about 15cm away from your hair and not close to the roots as it will leave a white patch. You’re supposed to leave it in for a couple of minutes then brush it through to your ends.

Hope you found this helpful xox
